The Atactic Poly Propylene (APP) modified bituminous membrane represents a top-tier waterproofing solution, crafted in strict adherence to international quality standards. Reinforced with a non-woven polyester fabric, its core is shielded on both sides by a high-quality Polymeric Asphaltic mix, renowned for its exceptional penetration, heat resistance, and elevated softening point. On the underside, a burn-off film simplifies torch application. Despite its high tensile strength, this membrane exhibits remarkable flexibility and adaptability to varying contours, making it an ideal choice for waterproofing applications. APP Membrane is available in various grades, including 2mm, 3mm, 4mm; with options for plain polyester or a mineral/sand finish.

 

Installation begins with surface preparation, ensuring the removal of any sharp projections. A suitable primer is applied before unrolling the APP Membrane over the surface and torch bonding it with overlaps to the substrate. Special attention is given to singularities such as drains and expansion joints.

This versatile product serves as an effective waterproofing membrane in a range of applications, including balconies and terraces beneath protective layers like tiles or gravel, flat and sloping roofs under protective coatings or ballast, car park decks, bridge decks beneath asphalt wearing layers, underpasses, subways, basements and other below-ground structures. It finds utility in horizontal reinforced concrete slabs, decks, podiums and protrusions, as well as vertical reinforced concrete walls.
